I’m a very picky hiker. I absolutely hate hiking aimlessly eventually deciding to turn around and come back the same way you came. I need to have a goal, a destination, and most of all a good return on investment. While we came back the same way after hiking up Angel’s Landing, the return on investment so great that it made up for any shortcomings the hike might have.
Tips for hiking up Angel’s Landing:
- Go during the week. Zion National Park is getting very popular and everyone seems to want to do this hike on the weekends.
- Come early! It get’s insanely crowded and the line gets a little ridiculous. We got to the park at 6am and still weren’t able to get the first shuttle of the day.
- Bring snacks and water. Standard but I thought I should mention it.
